APSA BPERP

The APSA-NIST Basic Proficiency Evaluation for Remote Pilots (or BPERP) Scenario was developed in partnership with the Airborne Public Safety Association. A certification is offered through this organization and can be obtained remotely through Zephyr!

Based off the "NIST Standard Test Methods for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems," the APSA BPERP effectively combines two NIST Open Lane Tests in the 10ft configuration: Position (Maneuvering 1) and Traverse (Maneuvering 2) with a 10 minute time limit to complete and slight wording changes to instructions.

In the APSA Scenario you will find a Training and a Test module. To attempt your certification, you must run the "Test" module and capture your run. For details on submitting a certification, please refer to attempt-a-certification.md.
